Blessed to be alive

These photos keep me in awe and continually thankful and blessed that I am alive today. It is national news - a tornado hit my area, here in Suffolk. My husband left the house just after 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday and was confronted with the tornado right in front of him, right around the corner from our driveway. At the same time, my youngest son screamed there was a tornado outside. Everyone was in disbelief until I yelled to confirm it (on the brink of touching down). I grabbed the hands of my four kids and just prayed. Minutes later the tornado stopped forming, lifted, and moved on its way. Other families lost everything within the hour. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
